We're back with a brand new edition of #ChuckysReport. This time we are featuring an alternative artist/musician who goes by the name ClarkyArtist.
ClarkyArtist has been producing music coming up to 28 years whether that be writing - to recording - and eventually releasing music.
It's an honour to say that I've had the pleasure of following his journey for many years.
On the 20th of May 2025, he released an E.P called 'Substance Addict' where he explores the realities of the different stages of addiction. Which in my opinion is an extremely unique artistic choice.
ClarkyArtist delivers some of his best work yet and is able to capture and portray such vivid imagery of these different stages perfectly.
It also has some amazing features from Cazniac, Billy Boi and Dom Savvy. (And guess what, they don't disappoint with the lyrical content they add to the tracks.)
It's hard to pick a favourite track from the E.P, but if I had to, I would have to say it is the second track on the E.P, 'Misuse'.
The reason I pick this song is that I really enjoy both the beat and ClarkyArtist's delivery.
- Plus i feel that Cazniac's contribution is executed perfectly.

I have to admit, if I ever take music seriously again I would love to have the opportunity to work with ClarkyArtist on something, but only time will tell.
Now we move to everyone's favourite segment, where I will be conducting an interview with ClarkyArtist to dive further into what makes Artist who they are - and what went into making this E.P.
Chucky Edwards - My first question is after so many years in the game how have you kept your motivation to keep going?
ClarkyArtist - I just genuinely love creating. Even when the industry changes, the urge I have for making music hasn’t gone away. That keeps me going. The motivation comes from the challenge I'm presented with.
CE - I would love to know more about this E.P. So what inspired the E.P and how did you come up with the concept?
CA - The concept for the EP is something that I've wanted to do for at least 10+ years, I had the titles, subject matter, and everything in my mind - ready to go since the idea was first conceived. It's a message and story of my own struggles and difficulties with addiction as well as the difficulties I've seen the people around me and the people closest to me deal with, too. It's a subject that isn't spoken about enough, to the point that people almost consider it taboo to talk about. Addicts are victims, even if it's of their own doing, they are still victims and helpless to an addiction that can take full control of a person's life and have a permanent hold on who they are.
CE - What was your favourite track to work on and what was the reason for that?
CA - I’d say the opening track - 'Inceptive'— it came together so naturally and really captured exactly how I wanted the feelings to be conveyed perfectly.
CE - Moving to more general questions if you could only listen to one artist who would that be?
CA - Despite what many might think, I'm actually not a big fan of many Rappers. so of I had to pick ONE artist, I'd probably have to pick 'Blink-182' — their music is what I grew up with & even to this day, their music is still something that I honestly never get tired of.
CE - What would you say has been your biggest highlight of your journey so far?
CA - Seeing people connect with my music in their own way — that’s the real payoff for me.
CE - So for the final question I just want to quickly ask do you have any future plans when it comes to music?
CA - I have a new album due November 5th, titled: 'Commercialism!' Which will cover several different genres, styles, concepts, and more!
I'll also be following up with another EP in May 2026, titled: 'The Stoner, Gage'.
Me & Cazniac have also been working consistently and releasing new music every 2 weeks for the last few years and we have big plans on continuing to do that,
A Horrorcore EP due on Halloween, titled: 'Taphonomy Theory'
In late November, we have Part 2 of our Pop-Punk ÷ Emo-Rap EP: 'Sleeping In Science Class P2'
In January we'll be releasing our UK×USA EP, Titled: 'From The E To The E'
Followed by Part 2 of our Pop × Pop-Rap EP 'Proof Of Principle' in February
And in December, we'll drop our 2nd Debut Album, 'The Revolution Will Be...'
