Hey guys, wish I was coming back on a brighter note but sadly not.
What a week it's been. It's only Thursday and we've had to say our goodbyes two to absolute Icons of their chosen industry.
On Tuesday the 22nd of July we got the horrific news that Rock n' Roll legend the 'Prince Of Darkness' Ozzy Osbourne.
I can't say I was a massive fan of Ozzy but always respected him as an incredible artist. He has had an incredible career as both a solo musician and as part of Black Sabbath.
However I heard many stories about him from family members who were and still are fans of him. Whether that be about his song or amazing stage presence. All the way to the bat shit crazy (no pun intended) story of him biting the head off a bat that was thrown at him on stage.
However a few weeks ago I saw videos of his performance at his farewell show 'Back To The Beginning'. It was incredible how his vocals were still so strong even after everything he's been through.
I can't lie where i saw the video of him singing 'Mama I'm Coming home' it brought tears to my eyes. It was so powerful, almost as if he knew his time was almost up.
I will definitely be diving deeper into the history of Ozzy and look forward to learning more about his. I will leave a link to one of his songs below.
Rest easy Ozzy.
Then we comes today the 24th of July where it has been announced that Legendary WCW/WWE superstar the 'Real American' Hulk Hogan has past away.
This one hits home that little bit harder growing up as a lifelong wrestling fan. What Hulk Hogan has done for the business is undeniable with you like him as a person or not.
Without Hogan who knows if the business would be where it is now. From Hulkamania to body slamming Andre The Giant or even the legendary run as Hollywood Hogan. So many memories and moments were created that will forever be engraved within people.
When I first saw the news his theme song 'Real American' popped into my head and was flooded by memories. I will leave a link to his entrance video below.
R.I.P 'Brother'
Once again thanks for reading and next I'll write about a brighter topic.
Take care all and tell your loved ones you love them. Life's too short.
Peace!
